People do still cloth diaper and it offers many financial and environmental benefits. But with the disappearance of diaper services, parents have been left without anyone to help them figure out what there options are.
Pre-folds, all in ones, contoured, pocket diapers, fleece liners, snappi’s, wet pail method, dry pail method…what does it all mean?
I will talk to you and find out about you preferences and needs (convenience, financial and otherwise.) Based on that information I will present you with straightforward and simple options. After we make a decision together I will find you the best deals out there and do all of your shopping for you. Then I will give you comprehensive directions, in person and on paper, on use, care and cleaning of your cloth diapers. To finalize you on your set up I will help you organize your diapering stations to make diapering an easy and efficient task.

Babywearing Consultant
For those interested specifically in baby wearing, I offer tutorials, rentals and group presentations on babywearing.
I can help you learn about the types of carriers available and help you choose one that best fits your needs and preferences. I have many different types of carriers for you to try and test out with you baby. Some of them have even donated by companies for demonstration and trial by you!
For educational purposes I can come to your home and speak to you individually or I can come speak to your group. For private instruction I follow up with phone and email support as needed for trouble shooting. I bring resources for your to read, view and share with skeptical friends and family. I teach about the history of baby wearing, safety, the benefits and the connivances of.

Breastfeeding Counselor
As a breastfeeding counselor I can assist you with breastfeeding problems no matter the age and stage of your baby. This includes: helping develop a back-to-work plan, teaching how to nurse with your baby in a sling, assisting with basic breastfeeding problem solving, helping mothers get started, address issues of breastfeeding pain and give weaning council. I generally do a home consultation and offer an unlimited amount of phone or email follow- up. Though only phone counseltations can be done for a lesser fee. These services are usually offered for a flat fee. If you are a postpartum client receiving postpartum doula services then the service of breastfeeding counseling while you are in my care is included.
